Welcome to the Kinsaki Rulebook!
Please make sure to read over all of these important rules, and stay fresh on them. The Kinsaki Staff enforces these rules very strictly; therefore, it is in your own will to read them, learn them, understand them, and follow them.
We recommend that you to read the rules at least once every month to make sure you stay up-to-date.
The rules are listed based on severity of offense. These rules start with offenses that will get you banned automatically and move down to less-severe offenses that will be given friendly warnings.
The number of warnings each infraction is worth is just a guideline. Each case may be dealt with individually and will be adjusted accordingly. Choices made by staff members are final. Do not attempt to go to another staff member and have a decision overturned.
You have four (4) chances. If you have three (3) warnings toward your account, Kinsaki holds the right to remove the points from your account. If you have four (4) warnings toward your account, you will be banned.
In any case that you believe you were unfairly banned, or would like to know the reason for your banning, please contact us at: admin@kinsaki.com

Instant Ban Infractions
Anyone caught breaking the following rules will be liable for an automatic ban.
Anyone caught breaking the following rules will be liable for an automatic ban.
Abuse of Mule System:
Every Kinsaki member is to have one main account and one mule account only. If a user is caught having multiple accounts linked to the same IP, they are liable for banning.
Exception: We recognize that some families are active on forum sites. If you have a family member or friend who uses the same IP address as you do, please PM a staff member and inform them that there are multiple users located at the same location, and what the account names are. Do not wait until you are caught or all accounts are liable to be banned.
Massive spamming:
The act of posting long strings of the same characters or phrases that stretch the page and are of no sense to others will earn an instant banning.
Graphic Stories, words, or Images:
This site is a PG-13 site. The use of explicit, detailed gore and "adult content", including, but not limited to, pictures, words, stories, and images or descriptions of stories or movies above the PG-13 or Young Adult reader level, are prohibited and will result in an instant ban.
Hacking/Scamming Users:
Under no circumstance is a user allowed to access another account without permission from the account owner. Scamming is the act of unfairly profiting from another user outside the deal set prior to a trade being started. Hacking or scamming other users will not be accepted and will result in an instant ban.
Off-site Trading
Items, points, credits, and accounts are all property of Kinsaki.com. Anything related to selling or trading these particular properties that belong to Kinsaki.com for real currency, items, "gold", or accounts of another online community will have your account automatically banned.

Trolling
Trolling is the act of posting controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion. Trolling is not allowed in Kinsaki.
Harassment
Harassment is any form of stalking a user or posting hate messages of any kind that are directed towards another member or group of members. Harassment of other users and/or staff members is not tolerated on Kinsaki at any time.
Flaming
The act of flaming is a hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users towards one individual or a group of individuals. Flaming and/or Flame Wars are not allowed in Kinsaki.
Necro Posting
Necro Posting is reviving multiple threads that have not been posted in over a month. The only forum that is exempt from this rule is the Site Feedback forum for threads that have had things suggested only if the user is posting valuable information towards the topic of the thread. Additionally, in the Marketplace, Hangout, Land of the Gods, Quest, Charity, and Art Shop forums, users are able to revive their their own threads if they are still relevant and do not conflict with the stickied rules of the forums.
Unquoted Lyrics/Plagiarism
Plagiarism is against the law. If you are posting works that are not yours, they must be quoted and credit must be given to the owner of the excerpt. To quote someone else's work, place it inside the BBCode [quote] [ /quote] tags (remove the space between [ & /)
Copy and Pasting
Posting the same message over and over again in multiple threads, comments or private messages is counted as a form of spamming for points. Anyone caught doing this have all points deducted from their account that were earned by these copy and paste posts.

Minor Infractions
Anyone caught breaking the following rules will receive one (1) warning points towards their account. When the warnings points add up to four (4) the account is liable for banning. If these rules are broken regularly after the user was told to stop, they may add up to more than one (1) warning point in accordance to Staff decicion.

Double Posting
Double posting is simply the act of posting right after yourself. This also counts talking to yourself via a mule account. If you forget something in your post or a new reply was made while you were making your reply simply go back to your post and edit in the information you need to. If you accidentally double post edit that post stating so and contact a Staff Member right away to have it taken care of. Double posting back to back will result in multiple warnings equal to the number of posts that have been posted back to back.
Exception: There is an exception to the double posting rule. It only applies though to setting up a thread in forums such as: Hangouts, Marketplace, Art Shops, Charities, Quests or Land of the Gods. This is limited however to the first page worth of posts (15 replies). You may also post after yourself ONLY if the thread has fallen off the first page of the forum. We suggest though that you request a friend to revive the thread for you to prevent any questions from coming up.
Begging
Making threads, posts, trades, or PMs asking for users to donate to you for any reason is not permitted. Please refrain from doing so. Also PMing a user to sell an item that they are wearing that they don't have stated as 'for sale' in the MarketPlace is may also be counted as begging.
Bumping
Bumping a thread is posting in any thread using the term "Bump" "Bring up my Post" or words/phrases of the sort. A thread that is on the first page can be seen still and therefore doesn't need to be at the top of the forum to be found.
Exception: You may bring back up your thread in any case that your thread has fallen off the first page of the forum. We recommend you post something like "Bringing this back" or "Reviving my thread again" instead of one-worded posts such as "bump".
Spam Topics
Quizzes, word games, chain letters/topics, one-worded topics are all considered meaningless topics and therefore the threads will be locked upon discovery. Kinsaki encourages constructive conversations so therefore encourages constructive topics to be posted in.
Spam Posts
As with the Spam Topics rule listed above, we encourage conversation. Posts that are considered spam include: chat speak posts (posts containing "L33T" talk), unnecessary "bumping", images but no words, one worded posts, and unrelated posts to the topic.
Copy and Paste Forum Text
Forum text is a built in feature of this site. It allows up to 250 characters to automatically be edited in to your post at the time you press submit. Any coding posted in addition past that is considered spam as it is unneeded and clutters posts. Examples of such unneeded items are Dragon Cave/Others egg and long quotes.
Be Respectful
Be respectful, civil and courteous towards the Kinsaki members and Staff members. We have a liberal policy regarding language, but overly abusive language is not permitted. If your post is excessively vulgar, insulting, explicit, hateful, or racist, it may be removed and disciplinary actions will taken on your account.
Abusing a glitch
Abusing a glitch is the act of using a glitch found in Kinsaki.com to profit one's self or someone else. All glitches must be reported prior to discovering them.
Current glitches include:
- Going over the limit on a profile's About Me section by copy-pasting into it.
- An item glitch where your avatar may not be visible, but the equipped item is.
